Geocache Description:

Tincache #16 – CusTINers Only takes you to a big parking lot. I needed some new strings for my tinor ukulele and whilst here, noticed a lack of caches in the close vicintinity. Since I’ve always got some tins with me, I remedied the situatin immediatinly. Please BYOP and as always, be wary of mugglers. Sorry, no room for a prize in this one.

Tins have intrigued me since I was a boy. I've collected them over the years and since starting geocaching, have found a renewed interest in them from some of the clever tin hides I've found. There's nothing like sticking your hand into a dark, spider-webbery hidden space and feeling that familiar shape...

What began as a series of five caches has blossomed into this ever growing series. My goal for each tincache is to hide a different kind of tin in/on an interesting thing, manner or place. The first portion of the series (tincache #01 - tincache #05) involved five different caches with different types of tins. Anyone who is interested in a little optional challenge, if you find the first five tincaches, keep track of the brand name on the tin and email me what the first five tins were. I'll send you a free tincache (or you could pick it up where I work) as long as my supplies last, and if you want one.

And if you’re up for a real challenge, as I’m now nearing twenty tins in this series, keep track of all the different tins for a special reward (to be announced with tincache #20) upon finding them all.

Most of the tincaches in this series are fairly easy to find, and the title is often (but not always) a pretty good hint as to the general (if not exact) place or area in which they are hidden. Hope you enjoy the tincaches.
