Welcome to Team FMA's M-52 Travel Bug Resort. If we were Geocaching
trackables, we'd certainly book a stay here: away from congested
city life, nestled in the rural countryside between two state
recreational areas, with plenty of deer and wild birds to watch.
Wait a minute, we did do that (and no, we're not
trackables)!
You are very welcome to dip TBs and geocoins here, but why not let
them visit for a while? The accommodations are spacious, and the
resort security staff is well trained. You're also welcome to take
a TB or geocoin even if you are not leaving one. We simply ask that
you not take every single trackable that is checked into the
resort.
The resort features a gift shop full of swag (and the price is
right - free, just for your signature in the log book), as well as
a gratuity jar for any visiting cachers who'd like to leave a
collectible tag for the COs to fight over.
Did we mention that this TB resort is in a rural area? And that
it's a get-away-from-it-all kind of place? Well, the resort also
gets away from parking. You'll find a parking waypoint below; for
those with Smartphones who don't see waypoints, park at the state
park parking area at the corner of M-52 and Roe Road, then walk
carefully along M-52 to reach the cache. If you're quick,
you can also pull into the entrance of the driveway to FMA Farms
across the street; the owners graciously will allow cachers to
temporarily park there only during daylight hours, but not
between 3:30 PM and 4 PM due to it also being a school bus
stop.
Thanks, and we hope that your trackables enjoy their
stay!
