I have caches on the other islands except Lopez and this island is my favorite. I wanted to find a spot that is special and that involves a hike. Well I found that here.
Enjoy the big scenery, running tides, noisey gulls and floating bull kelp.
Upon entering the woods, you will soon come to a junction where you can either go straight or go to the right. Either way will take you to the cache since the trail is a loop. The complete loop is a mile long.
Since I found the special location, now the title.
The title popped into my head when I heard 2 gulls call perched on a nearby rock.
I'll post photos of one of the gulls soon.
