Cache is hidden at beautiful Hawthorne Park. Cache is a small lock 'n lock and you only have to leave the trail for a short time to find it. The park closes at 11pm during daylight savings months and 8pm during the other months. This park can be busy so remember to use stealth.
Another in a series of caches intended to show you good places for seeing birds and enjoying nature while you hunt for a cache. At this pond you may see blackbirds, ducks, geese, chickadees, thrushes, wrens, robins, sparrows and possibly a great blue heron. We like to watch all the frogs playing in the pond too!
Use stealth when finding and replacing cache. Enjoy this nice park and happy caching!!
