Devil's Elbow Revised Traditional Cache
zx6team: This area has been trashed, literally! Since someone cleared a road into this spot it seems that some people have decided it's now a dump and just unload their trash here. The area has been steadily deteriorating so I am archiving this one.

Easy cache with another view of the valley. There is room to pull off the road but do not attempt to do that if you are going downhill! Go to the pull-off a little ways down and turn around there. No need for any accidents here! There is parking for one car.
Devil's Elbow was the name given to this corner by the locals way back when--when the corner was very sharp and there were no guard rails, long before white lines and Botts' Dots. Many a speeder learned his lesson the hard way on this corner, including some fatalities. The idea was that if you were not careful you just might end up meeting the devil! The road has since been re-routed so it's not a big problem anymore. There is still part of the pavement from the old road left but most of it has grown over. This seems to be a hangout at times for some partying so I don't recommend searching for this one at night . Please replace the cache carefully, as well or better than you found it and let's see how long it will last here. Please bring your own writing instrument.
