This area doesn't offer too much in the way of hiking, basically three large trails, with trails leading out to distant parks, but it is a nice area. No dogs are allowed.
When you take the readings from the parking lot it will be evident which way to go. Stay on the main road as long as possible and you won't have to go off-trail too much. There is a steep elevation change as you get closer to the site.
