Geocache Description:

This is not really an unknown "cache type." It is a puzzle cache, but that is no longer an option when placing a cache.

The coordinates shown are not the cache location. You can park there, though, and the cache is not far away.

You will need to do a little research to solve a puzzle which will give you the needed coordinates.

Some may have guessed that I am a fan of Scrooge McDuck, the world’s richest duck. How much is he worth? That’s a question of much debate. In 2011 Forbes estimated his wealth at 44.1 billion, making him richer that Bill Gates. Others say that figure is low.

We do know that he keeps his money in a large money bin and Scrooge loves to dive into the money and swim in it like a dolphin and borough through it like a gopher.

If you can answer three simple questions about my hero you will have the key to solving the puzzle.

1. Donald Duck is related to Scrooge. Donald is Scrooge’s _ _ (4)_ _ _
2. The town where Scrooge lives is located in the fictional state of

3. How many cubic acres is Scrooge’s money bin? Spell your answer.

Note that I have indicated the number of letters in the answer by showing a number or a dash. Those numbers represent the letter that they replace. You can then use the following chart to turn the letter back into a number to replace the numbers shown in the coordinates which follow.

OK, the numbers and letters don't line up properly in the version you are looking at, but you get the idea. A=1 B=2, etc.

I know, it sounds as confusing as 8 5 12 12. But most of you are pretty smart people, so I know you’ll do fine. If you have ideas on how to better explain this send me an email and I will take your suggestions under advisement.

Because of this is a cache revolving around great wealth I have included $1,000 for the First To Find. Whoa! Wait, Scrooge is the rich one, not me. Forget the $1,000, but the FTF can look for a couple of $2 bills in the cache container.
