Geocache Description:

Welcome to our first ever cache hide– we hope you enjoy it!!

The cache name derives from Colley Orchard – which stood on this site many years ago.

This church holds very special memories as we were married here in 1987 and my father and grandfather were involved in building the new church in 1961.

My parents are still very active in the life of the church & my father has written the history page on the church’s website (visit link)

The coordinate are for a free car park outside the church.

All the clues & cache are located on and around the church grounds.

Please be considerate if caching on a Sunday as this is a place of worship.

Cache placed with kind permission of Providence Methodist Church, Cradley.

Please practice CITO – there are a number of bins on site.

Clues for the coordinates are...

A = Number of crosses on the name banner

B = Number of letters in the town where the Dr lived

C = Number of letters in the builder’s surname

D = Number of L’s on the memorial stone with a spider connection

E = Number of crosses above the school door

F = Number of Sirs on the memorial stones

G = Hour the evening service starts. There is no longer an Evening service. G=6

H = Number of letters in missing word: “Methodist _________ Connection Chapel”

I = Year the Sunday school was built. Add up the numbers then add up the numbers
e.g. 1987: 1+9+8+7 = 25 then 2+5 = 7
