While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

Geocache Description:

N: Cachen er plassert på en ukjent perle på Nedre Charlottenlund - en badeplass ved fjorden mellom Grilstadfjæra og Rotvollfjæra. Fin plass for ettermiddagskaffe ved fjorden!
E: The cache is placed at a small "gem" of a "have a swim in the fjord" location at the seashore mid between Grilstadfjæra og Rotvollfjæra. Nice place for an outdoor cup of coffee in the afternoon sun.

N: Cachen er en vanntett liten plastboks. Innhold: logg, en liten leke-plastrev, en lekebil, og to Australske mynter. Den ligger på "badeanlegget" i Hassebakkfjæra, så vidt jeg forstår etablert av Charlottenlund Vel. Veldig fin liten plass å besøke en varm sommerdag, eller enda bedre en ettermiddags- eller kveldsstund "utenom sesongen". Strand å vasse i for ungene, tidvis varmt vann på grunna, og fine svaberg. Flott pir ut i fjorden, men denne er dessverre stengt. I sin tid var stedet stengt for "allmennheten" og bare tilgjengelig for medlemmer av Charlottenlund Vel, men nå er det åpent for alle og jeg tror velforeningen ikke helt hadde fått med seg den norske allemannsretten... Det står et skilt der folk som bruker badeanlegget oppfordres til å betale avgift til velforeningen, men det er uklart hva man skal betale for når piren er stengt. Enkel adkomst pr sykkel, føtter eller bil ned Hasselbakkveien - skjønt kommer du med bil bør du parkere litt unna på lovlig plass. Kan være litt vrien å finne - lykke til!
E: The cache is a waterproof small plastic box. Contents at establishment: log, a small toy baby fox, a toy car, and two Australian coins. It's placed at a small and maybe little known beach - Hasselbakkfjæra, situated at the end of Hasselbakkveien at Nedre Charlottenlund. It's a nice place to visit on a warm summer day, or maybe even better for a relaxed afternoon/evening visit "off-season". The kids may play in the shallow water, and one may picnic on the beach or on the rocks by the sea. There's a nice pier into the fjord which, unfortunately, is closed for safety reasons. The beach is managed by Charlottenlund Vel, which used to claim exclusive access but had to give up that idea because of the Norwegian "allemannsretten". Easy access by bike, car or on foot down Hasselbakkveien - but if you come by car, please park some distance away where parking is allowed.
