Geocache Description:

Quercus imbricaria aka, Shingle Oak. The middle of the 3. This is the tree that is used to make oak Shake Shingles and is the hardest of all the Oaks native to Cincinnati. This is in a cemetary so no night caching except on Halloween with the caretakers permission.

I changed the container so small TB's will fit. Once again, if you learn the tree, you will lessen your search time. Note- for some reason lots of folks confuse this tree with the Laurel Oak which doesn't grow North of the Tropical Southern US. Winter ID, just look for the Oak, the Ash & Cherry look totally different
Congrats to CacheCrushers616 on FTF.

Note- The National Champion Shingle Oak is located about tem minutes from here on private property. If you want to see it, email me with ur intention.
