This cache has been placed at a little bench on the road from Nether Silton to Kepwick known as Bridge Beck Lane. There is enough room to park one car without blocking the road or farm drive.
You will note the bench is in memory of Stan and Muriel Thomas, who lived at Stay Cottage, this is the little cottage at the bottom of Kepwick Bank and they used to often walk to this spot and back again, lovely couple who I knew well.
The view over towards Kepwick is spectacular and well worth a moment to take it in.
Ok the cache has been set as a challenge to find, its small and is not in the hedges, field or down the farm drive, please be aware of muggle drivers passing and don’t give the game away.
You will note the old lime kiln just down the farm drive, interesting but it’s not there, that’s down the drive.
