Recently I found a cache placed by KU Jayhawk that brought you to one of his favorite places. I liked the idea and thought I would share one of my favorite places.
Update (9/28/2013): Due to concerns over the safety of the stairs I was asked to move this cache. It took some time, but I think I have found a spot that maintains the spirit of the hide while addressing the concerns about the stairs. As with the original hide there is no need to leave the path, trample any vegetation, or move/dismantle the stairs.
I know you will enjoy the view hopefully you will also enjoy the hide.
Original Description: I found this spot about a year ago and had often thought of placing a cache here. However, I can be a bit of a slacker and when I finally got around to hiding it I found the area closed. Good news though it was only temporarily closed while a new bike path was constructed.
Enjoy the view, but watch your step. The cache is well camo'd, but in plain sight. You do not need to leave the path or disturb the vegetation to locate it. My hope is that it is a muggle-proof hide that is an easy find for cachers.
