Geocache Description:

It is said that in countries where monkeys live, trappers try to capture the apes by placing a cage in areas where the apes live. They cut a hole in the cage only big enough for the ape to put his hand through. A banana is placed inside the box. The monkey comes along and reaches inside the cage to get the banana but once he grabs it he cannot pull it out through the small hole. The trapper then runs up, throws a net over the ape and he is captured. This is no longer a two part cache. The coordinates given are for parking. The final coordinates are in the hint. It is then just a short walk into the woods to find the final stage, however since I hid this cache 12 yers ago the path I used has grown in and it is very hard to negotiate into the woods. This cache is hidden between three very large trees but covered now with prickers. But here is the problem, you need to get the log out in order to sign it. So do not try to stick your hand in this cache. Do not ask a child to stick their hand in the cache. You will need a tool. It is a tool most geocachers carry with them in their bags or back packs. If you do not have the needed tool, one is supplied but you will have to bushwack through a nasty area to get to it, and you will need to put it back. Bring your own pen and please do not leave trade items in this cache, they cannot be retrieved. Of course you can always call a friend, but that would only prove that your friend is smarter than an ape, not you. A flashlight may help you figure out the answer to the puzzle. Once you are done, please do not tighten lid to the cache. That is not mean't to be the challenge. Big thanks to to my husband, Big Wolf, for helping me set up this cache. There is no longer a chirp to help with the final. Hope this cache brings a smile to your face and to your logs. Be sure to post a picture of you with the log container in hand, and possibly swinging from the vines, just don't get caught with your hand in the cache! Finally a cacher smarter than an ape: a real FTF with the correct tool goes to IMSpider who had to leave the "banana" to go a grab the tool, something no ape would do. Close second was Minpin who programed the chirp but who had no idea what the cache was or how it worked.
