Geocache Description:


This temple was built in 1501. But "Hanno-war" was lost in 1868.
The temple had a relationship with the Tokugawa family, was greatly developed.
Temple gardens, "selected one hundred gardens in Japan" has been chosen.

*Visit the gardens and main hall is a fee.

fee / 300yen

1501年、飯能の武将中山家勝が小庵を結んだのが始まりとされる寺である。
1868年の飯能戦争で消失。その後再建された。
『池泉鑑賞蓬莱庭園』は桃山時代の作庭と推定され、日本名園百選にも選ばれている。

ペンを持参して下さい。

※庭園および本堂の拝観は有料です。
時　間：9:00～16:00
拝観料：300円
