Geocache Description:

Ben Rinnes is located in the Northern Grampians nr Dufftown. A solitary peak which broadens on easy inclines to the W but narrows to a well defined ridge to the E. This ridge has moderately steep slopes, but a track ascends onto Round Hill and from there a path leads to the summit. The hill is popular with walkers of all abilities,

Beinn Ruaidhneis (Scottish Gaelic:Ben Rinnes) is a Corbett in Moray, at the summit one can see 8 counties (Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, Moray, Nairnshire, Inverness-shire, Ross and Cromarty, Sutherland, and Caithness) and on a clear day even the Moray coast. Another draw for the hiker are the waterfalls from the many rivers that flow down the mountain such as Linn of Ruthie.

PLEASE go appropriately equipped for 2-3 hours on exposed Scottish hills.

The cache is a 35mm film canister, sorry about that, its hidden below the peak itself, but I have given it a diff of 4 so its worth rooting around for, only contains a waterproof log, no pencil.
I was hoping to explore the various Scurrans, rocky outcrops, found scattered over the hill but very low visibility meant I only made this one.
