At a newly locked gate, you cannot drive any further
A sad instigation - the gate has been locked preventing cars going up to enjoy the views from the Lednock Dam because, so the estate owner advised, of the persistent litter louts leaving behind the remains of their picnics spoiling the area completely.. Please do not climb the gate across the road, there is a smaller side one allowing walkers through. Now there is an extra half mile to get to the dam, but it is a pleasant one and the views are worth it.
