The City of Subiaco has a number of small parks in lots adjacent to
residential homes of which this is one. These days the parks are
often empty except from the occasional small local child. Nearby
there are similar parks in Rosalie, Austin & View Streets that
are hidden gems largely known only to locals. The park is dog and
child friendly, with play equipment, a water fountain and two
benches (one is covered). If driving to the location beware that it
is located on a one way road that runs north to south only. Easy
paved access. This park was named after Mr Clifford (Joe) Tyrie in
1998 in acknowledgement of this local resident's many years of
community service. In this park there are three adjacent properties
that all have gates leading into the park. If one triangulates to
the central point between these three gates the cache will be close
at hand.
