Kätkön koordinaatit johtavat Kurtinvuoren jyrkällä rinteellä
sijaitsevalle kalliomaalaukselle, jonka löysivät vuonna 1975 Aarne
ja Pirjo Rauhala. Kalliomaalaus sijaitsee Hanhivirran lossista noin
2,4 km länsilounaaseen, Enonveden pohjoisrannalla olevan
Kurtinvuoren itäpään eteläseinämässä, pienellä kallioterassilla.
Aikojen saatossa on kallioseinämästä irronnut suuri siirtolohkare,
joka on rojahtanut suurten kivenlohkareiden päälle siten, että sen
alle on muodostunut luolamainen onkalo. Tämä ”luola”
sijaitsee kalliotasanteen reunalla niin, että sen eteen jää hyvin
kapea liikkumatila, mistä kallio laskee jyrkkänä seinänä alhaalla
olevaan kivikkoon.
Kalliomaalaukset on nähtävillä kalliosyvennyksen suulla, sekä sen
kattona olevan siirtolohkareen etureunaan järvenpuoleiselle
sivulle. Maalatuista hahmoista on tunnistettavissa pieniruumiinen,
riippuvatsainen hirvi. Hirven leukaparralla koristettu pää on itse
hirven kokoon nähden suhteettoman suuri. Kallioterassin edessä
olevalla suurehkolla kivellä on havaittavissa myös hirvikuvio sekä
runsaasti muita punavärijälkiä.
Kalliomaalaukselle ei ole maastoon merkittyä polkua, mutta
maalaukselle on hyvä siirtyä metsäkoneen uraa pitkin
risteysalueelta, jonka koordinaatit ovat: N 62”08.758 / E
028”55.869.
Louhikkoista, paikoin vaikeakulkuista rantaa pitkin, onkin sitten
varovasti lähestyttävä kätköpaikkaa. Myös Kurtinvuoren päältä
löytyy lähestymisreitti kätköpaikalle, mutta tuolloinkin on oltava
erittäin tarkka ja varovainen jyrkällä kalliolla liikuttaessa.
Avovesiaikaan paikalle pääseekin kätevimmin jollakin
vesikulkuneuvolla. Kurtinvuorelle johtava tie on vasta
perusparannettu, joten ei tarvitse maastoautoa päästäkseen
marssietäisyydelle kohteesta.
Itse kätkö on sijoitettuna kallioterassilla olevaan
kalliosyvennykseen. Kätkörasian löytääkseen ei tarvitse siirtää tai
muutoin irrottaa yhtään kiveä luolasta.
Kätkön on löydettävissä myös talviaikaan. Taskulampusta voi olla
apua, ainakin hämärimpään aikaan kalliosyvennyksen suulla
liikuttaessa.
Coordinates of the cache will lead to a steep hillside in
Kurtinvuori rock paintings, discovered in 1975 by Aarne and Pirjo
Rauhala. Painting the rock is located in “Hanhivirran
lossi” approximately 2.4 km west-southwest, Eno water on the
northern shore of the eastern end of the Kurtinvuori –south
wall, a small rock on the terrace. As time passed, the rock is
loosened a large boulder, which is hit large boulders on top of
that, it has become less than the cave-shaped cavity. This "cave"
is a rock plateau on the edge, so that the front is very narrow
room for maneuver, where the rock falls down the steep wall of
stones.
The rock paintings are on display at the entrance of the cave, as
well as a cap on the front of the boulders lake's side. Painted the
characters are recognizable moose, decorated with elk head is the
size of the elk out of proportion. A rock terrace in front of the
large-scale stone is also seen deer patterns and plenty of other
red-color signs.
Rock paintings there is no marked trail terrain, but the best way
is to move along the forest track from the “cross
road”: N 62”08.758 / E 028”55.869, and land near
the shore. Boulder fields, in places are difficult to walk along
the beach is then carefully approach the cache location.
Kurtinvuorentie - road has newly renovated, so no need for a jeep
when approaching the cache site.
Self the cache is placed in a rock terrace in the cave-like cavity.

any stones in the cave. The cache can be found in the winter time
too, and flash light can be helpful tool.
