Birds flew the coop a bit from the trail and found their roost on a knoll where they could nest in the duffy forest.
This cache sits off the birdhouse trail on a knoll just beyond where the rock climbers might muggle it. A bit of bushwhacking will give you a chance at finding this one near the great rootball.
The birdhouse trail is a discreet yet increasinly popular trai that many rock climbers have been finding. Following the trail to Dirty Harry's Balcony requires solid navigation skills. But yields a nice trail that is steeper but much more scenic.
