The McArthur Island Treasure Hunt (MITH)
series is a geo-training playground for new geocachers with a
variety of cache types and difficulty levels. Caches are safe,
family-friendly, and some are wheelchair accessible. All caches
promote the highest standards of geocaching etiquette by
encouraging cachers to practice low impact caching, respect other
park users, and trade responsibly.
PLEASE: If you find a trackable
(TB or Coin) and decide to take it to move to another cache, PLEASE
log it. Too many trackable items are going missing for an
unknown reason. THANKS!
Most of all, they are meant to be
fun!
High water in the spring always leaves a debris field
. . . with a lot of debris . . . including a
geocache . . . have fun!
Always
remember to read the ATTRIBUTES and DIFFICULTY
LISTINGS.
This is an example of a rule to remember when you are
out finding other caches off the
island.
This cache requires a short scramble down
a small bank. This will not be easy for some and not
available in winter due to snow coverage. If you are nervous
to make the small scramble, please do not attempt. This is
not a dangerous cache, just an awkward one. The elevation
change is less than 10 feet.
This project is proudly supported by the City of
Kamloops.
