This will be a bit of a drive but the roads are all well maintained.
As a child growing up in Moab we had plenty of opportunity to camp in the La Sals. Every hunting season we would stake claim to a spot of land and spend a week there, hunting, camping, exploring and having a great time.
So, coming home for a visit we just had to take a trip up on the La Sals. The oak brush was in the middle of its change and the scenery was just as beautiful as I remembered.
What I didn't find was a cache placed in Gold Basin. So loving this area I wanted others to come up here and enjoy the drive too. I don't ususally place micro's in the woods but I didn't have a better cache container with me so right now that's all ya get. Be reassured, it will be replaced with a bigger container soon.
