Since we hit a milestone of 100 caches, we decided it was time to make one of our own.
To help us remember our visit with our grandparents this summer, we decided to hide it in their small hamlet and are giving the responsibility of maintenance to Grandma.
You will be entering the small community of Wauchope, Saskatchewan just off Highway 13. The community celebrated it’s 100th Anniversary in 2003. The main building still left is the Roman Catholic Church and rectory – St. Jean Francois Regis (named after a French Jesuit priest 1597-1640). Regular services are no longer offered but it is still maintained and used for special occasions.
You are looking for a medium sized camoe lock and lock container. Our theme of the items inside was a reflection of some of the hobbies within our family unit – soccer, baking, scrapbooking, fishing, camping just to name a few. Please feel free to add some to reflect yours!
There is a FTF plus a Girl Guide 100th Anniversary Geocoin inside. The goal for this geocoin is to travel with as many girl guides across Canada and internationally.
