This is the northern Nevada version of a cache we saw in
Henderson (that was in turn modeled after a cache in Florida).
Thanks to B&BNV for the idea.
Have you ever gone out in the middle of the night when a new
cache is published? Your heart is racing, your brow is sweating,
and then you make the coveted find! Only, nope, someone else beat
you to the punch and signed it first only 15 minutes prior. Well,
this cache is for every time a cacher gets out of the house for the
FTF race and is only broken-hearted once they get there.
The coordinates will take you to the north end of the guardrail.
Every cacher who finds this cache must move the cache one support
(wooden block) away from its hiding spot, moving away from the
starting point (heading south, towards downtown Reno). This way,
the next cacher who comes along will be the "First To Find" the
cache in its new hiding spot.
Every cacher who finds this cache must adhere to the following
rules to log successfully:
1.) After finding this cache, replace it by moving it to the
next support traveling away from the starting point.
2.) The cache container must remain placed on the guardrail.
This is an easy find, and it should be for each respective
cacher.
3.) You must sign the log with a FTF (please don't take up too
much room on the log sheet).
Additionally, it isn't at all a requirement, but if you can
express enthusiasm and maybe a smilie or two in your log, it would
help further the spirit of this cache.
Please be sure to follow the rules. We'll kindly ask you to
alter your log if you do not follow the above rules.
Once this cache reaches the end of the guardrail, please return
it to the starting point (posted coordinates). This is a long
guardrail so when the cache gets down towards the end it may take
some looking to come up with the find. You can count the number of
online logs and count the number of supports to get an idea of
where the cache currently is when you look for it.
This is meant to be fun, so try to have fun! :)
