This is our second cache along the Philpott Trail in Kelowna, BC. It's a nice, easy walking trail named after the man who, for over 30 years, walked & inspected a vital water flume which ran alongside it. Suitable for small children & horses, although there's a slight slope from this entrance which is marked by a metal sign with a no campfire symbol in a red slash circle, just over 3 kms from the base of Philpott Rd. It eventually comes back out on Philpott Rd, by the official RDCO “Philpott Trail” sign approximately .3 kms from the start at Hwy 33.
The best parking for this entrance, is just around the metal hiking sign but not blocking the entrance to the trail. Follow the hiking sign on the tree, about 50 feet away, pointing the way to the trail. This is 2 of 2 caches we designed for this trail, the other being closer to the official trail entrance. You can either walk the entire trail (approximately 3 kms 1 way), or park & grab at one entrance then go to the other.
This second cache is a camo taped cylindrical tub, containing the following initial items:

-small bag of marbles
