A walk around Wolverton passing historical, heritage and public art locations.
The walk is completely wheelchair/buggy friendly. All clues will be found literally under your feet. The walk itself, if the suggested route is followed, will take between 1 and 2 hours depending upon mobility. For this reason only the terrain has been rated as 2.
The locations listed include part of “The Wolverton Town Walk” which was devised and created by artist Julia Manheim with the support and help local residents. From there to an area transformed by Wolverton Society for Arts and Heritage together help from both Wolverton and District Town Council and local volunteers, finally ending at a work of public art.
The starting co-ordinates are at the car park. Additional clues to the next location will become apparent as you progress. The walk to the final clue and the cache itself involves a walk along a narrow pavement and the crossing of busy roads so care is needed. Finally there is deep water nearby to the cache so please keep a close watch on children.
