DanOCan's 10 Years of Caching Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

DanOCan: I confirmed the cache is indeed missing but I think I need to admit that if I haven't replaced it yet I clearly don't have as much time for cache maintenance as I should. This one had a good run of seven years and maybe I'll place another one day to mark my 20th year of caching. For now, farewell little cache.

Geocache Description:

It’s hard to believe that it has been a decade since I created an account on geocaching.com. So much about the game – and my life – has changed in those ten years. It seemed fitting to go out and hide a cache to mark the occasion and also to give something back to the Cochrane community I have called home for the last nine months.

To find my anniversary cache you will need to do some basic research into the caching history of DanOCan. Don’t worry, it should be pretty simple as everything you need to know is listed on my Geocaching profile.

The cache is hidden at N51 10.ABC W114 28.DEF

A) Which GeoWoodstock was DanOCan’s milestone 3000th cache?

B) During his first ten years of caching, how many times did DanOCan host a “Priddis Pub Night”? Add two to your answer.

C) During his first ten years of caching, how many different Canadian provinces did DanOCan find a cache in? Subtract one from your answer.

D) How many days did DanOCan go caching in the first six months of his caching career? (Clarification: First cache was in December of 2003 so the first month ended in January of 2004, second month in February of 2004...sixth month in June of 2004 so include it in the calculation.)

E) How many days elapsed between DanOCan creating an account on geocaching.com and finding his first cache?

F) During his first ten years, how many Wherigo caches did DanOCan find? Add four to your answer.

The cache you seek is a former peanut butter container hidden just off one of Cochrane’s beautiful pathways. It’s a cache that is friendly for kids and dogs, but if we get another flood like we saw in June of 2013 this cache will be a goner – that’s how this spot opened up for a hide in the first place.
