The purpose the LPNP series of caches is
to attract visitors to Latta Plantation Nature Preserve (& Latta Plantation Nature Center; first building on the right), show what Mecklenburg County Nature Preserves have to offer and promote the great sport of geocaching.
This cache is located at Control #13 of the old permancent orienteering course that was installed in 1998 as an Boy Scout Eagle Project.
It is along the Hill Trail and only a few feet off the trail itself. Be aware of the trail rides that go down this section of trail to and from the Latta Equestrian Center. Please also consider the enviornment as you look.
Depending on the day, muggle awareness may need to be increased.
Container contains only the log.
