This cache was placed from a Seed Container I got out of Cache BriLaura Created on the Sac and Fox Trail to encourage fellow Cachers to Explore and hide new caches in one of their favorite spots for others to enjoy.
This cache is hidden about 3/8 of a mile from the nearest parking spot along the Hoover Nature Trail. The cache is hidden off the main trail about 25 feet along a heavily traveled deer path.
I love Cedar Rapids because of all the great biking trails that have been added in and around the city.
According to the Cedar Rapids Metro Area Trail Guide this trail has funding to extend beyond Ely. If you go the other direction you can travel all the way to Brandon near Waterloo.
I see there is also a future trail planned to connect this one across a bridge over the Cedar River and meeting up with the Sac and Fox trail. Can't wait for that one.
Future trails are also planned all over Cedar Rapids.
This year I purchased a holder so I can attach my GPS to the handlebars on my bike. Very cool and loads of Fun.
