One of our favorite bedtime reads and easy to do over the course of a week or two is The Twits, written by Roald Dahl. The Twits follow a horrible married couple who play practical jokes on one another. Their jokes get bigger and bigger and so do the laughs. We definitely recommend reading this one.
Rockman's park is a great place to get away into nature while still being in town. In the winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe. In the summer and fall you can enjoy taking walks under the shade of the numerous trees. Beware spring, however, you may lose your shoes in the mud.
