A small cache in a park area in the middle of Chiltern.
This parkland area is a flood-plain close to the heart of down-town Chiltern. In the mining days in the 19th century it was worked over for gold (the workings to the west were part of Marengo's 'Lock Out' Mine - not sure of the reason for this name..) - now it's just used for dog-walking, golf practise etc...
I chose the name because my Airedale Mr Bingley suggested a cache outside his back yard so he can woof at cachers who come looking for it. If you'd like to give him and his best mate Mackie a pat, you can meet them over the fence!
The container is small, but has room for small swaps. Please replace carefully and keep an eye out for muggles....
Please park out on the street and DON'T DRIVE IN TO THE PARK - the more people who drive in, the more it encourages the local mini-bike riders....... and note that if you don't sign the book, your Found log may be deleted without warning.
And please, no Night Finds - the dogs go crazy and wake us up!
