Geocache Description:

I walk past this park every day. There are lots of scribbly gums in the park, hence the name but with a slight variance. The hide is simple and a real easy one for the kids. The area is level, beside a creek, easy to drive and park.

The cache is hidden in a simple place to find. The area is beautiful and if your lucky at the right season, you will see koala's in the heights of the scribbly gums. You will see other scribbly gums that are badly eaten out with white ants in the centre, yet the tree lives on. THis one used to be the largest in the park, but lightning recently struk it & blew it out. Now dead but still a great statue. You can also see the Koala claw marks on some of the trunks made as they come down and go up the trees. Easy access and parking. Bring the dog as it is dog friendly. Bring the kids as you can play on the swings, throw and frisbee or venture to the creek and throw in a rock. As this is a high muggle area, be watchful and please well hide it again when found & signed. There are some nice toys to exchange and a good size log to write your story.
