This cache is situated in Edworthy Park, one of Calgary’s finest natural parks. It was once a part of the Cochrane Ranch and was eventually purchased by Thomas Edworthy in 1883. The land was purchased by the City in 1962 for the development of a park. For more information, please take the related page link.
Depending on which way you come, you can either be on level paved paths, steeper dirt paths, or bushwhack down a cliff (the last is NOT recommended). There are trails you can take to get within 20 meters. Depending on the season, you might need waterproof boots for this last bit.
For the protection of the environment AND the cache itself,
please search for this one in the daylight only.
The park is closed between 11 pm and 5 am.
I had bad GPSr reception, so the cache might be a few meters away from the calculated coordinates. This well camo'd cache was inspired by a DNF log by ~Rah for Crystal 7 (GCRRFX) [link]. When you find the cache, please lift the top to access the container, and replace the top carefully after signing the log.
This is a permanent cache, it was placed for the CCARF11 event, held October 22-23, 2011 and remains in place. It was entered in the 'Never Hidden a Cache for CAR Before' category.

Congratulations to gordoner, Unclesam1111, and mrcanoehead224 for the joint FTF!
