We decided the East side of Twin Bridges Park needed a cache as well. Its just as pretty as the West side! Pay attention to the white bridge that you cross when you enter the park--it is on the national register of Historic Places. It was built in 1910 and is a concrete arch bridge. Just a neat thing to admire!
Permission to place granted by Fayette County Conservation Board.
We left a treat for the birds--in your log let us know how much is left, so we can keep it "full". We thought we better since we cheated them out of seed!
This terrain would be wheelchair accessible, but a person who is not able to stand up from their chair most likely won't be able to reach it without assistance.
****Please note as of January 2012, the lane is blocked off for traffic. You can still walk in and get to the caches of Twin Bridges, but cannot drive in closer*****
