Geocache Description:

A small lock n lock with a log book, two pencils and some trade items.

Franklin E. Loebe served as Orland Park’s village treasurer from 1929 until 1994, being one of the longest serving appointed officials in the history of the State of Illinois. The village’s recreation center was named in his honor in 1990 and his father and uncle opened one of Orland Park’s earliest stores in 1898, Loebe Brothers General Store on Union Avenue.
