Geocache Description:

Approximately 200m from the Bronte Parsonage, a cache to commemorate the Bronte Family: Patrick and Maria Bronte and their children Maria, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Patrick, Branwell, Emily Jane and Anne.

An extra to a series of caches we set along a route we use when walking from Oakworth to Haworth.

Linked caches; Rosie’s View , Hoot Corner , Two Little Ducks , Root Line , Donkey Field 2 ~ The Cage , Donkey Field, Hobbit Hole , The Bronte Family Tree

This could be done as an addition to our circular route to make it approx 3.5 miles or you could do it on it’s own or as a drive by.

For our walk you can park at Oakworth Station on the Worth Valley Railway, N53 50.477 W1 56.542 otherwise parking is available at the cache site.

The Cache is a black plastic tub with screw cap known as a Turtle it’s approx 100mm in diameter and 55mm tall. It contains a logbook, pencil and some goodies for the kids, plenty of room for coins and TB’s.

Hidden in the Bronte Village Car Park which is full of Muggles, very busy in the summer but never quiet. Please be careful where you tread and put back as found so we don’t give it away, it should be an easy find from the clue.

It was damp and foggy when dropped and it's under tree cover so coords could be slightly out but I've made a few more visits and they seem good to me.

Congratulations to EmeraldEvans First to Find!
