This cache has been placed for the CCARF11 event, held October 22-October 23, 2011. This cache was released to the public on either October 17th* or October 19th, 2011. (*Earlier release date for puzzle caches) The cache should not be located prior to 12-noon, Saturday, October 22, 2011. The caches for the CAR event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start. After the event, please remove the above note and replace it with: This is a permanent cache, it was placed for the CCARF11 event, held October 22-23, 2011 and remains in place. Buffalo Park , named after the nine Peacekeepers that were killed in a Buffalo airplane over Syria in 1974, is home to a monument of an actual Buffalo propeller and a commemorative plaque.
