We're not that big on park 'n grab caches, but we'll make an exception to provide some fodder for the GAG16 event. Besides, if you Do The Math, a short hike from here will net you another find!
Okay, so it's not a Grand View from this point on the street, but you do get a good view of the Temple of High-Tech in Ottawa, now greatly diminished in glory. The real grand view is at the other end of Grandview Rd, which provides access to the Ottawa River.
Please note that the best approach to the cache is from the trail head to its north. Going straight in from the road is more hazardous - watch out for the remains of a wire fence on the ground! Also, please try to return the container to its proper perch. It should be firmly wedged against the trunk of the tree, about four feet off the ground.
