This cache is located close to where Gus Creek dumps into the Nehalem River. The terrain is flat. You shouldn't have to leave the pavement. Parking is available on the South side of the cache site. BYOP
This is our families' first of what will hopefully be many caches in the area.
Highway 47 and Highway 202 are a very scenic drive (or bicycle ride) down to Astoria any time of the year.
Across the street from where the cache is located is the Coastal Mountain Sport Haus Lodge.
