Each year's event ends up being a big SUCCESS because of all
you Great Geocachers.
So here we go again!
With 'Black
Friday' out of the way, take a break from shopping (or fuel up
for more shopping) by coming by to eat and relax a bit among
friends. The shopping, long lines, traffic and other distractions
will wait for you harmlessly outside.
We will meet
from 10:00 to 12:00 at a local Corral where the feed
trough is made from the Golden best. We will have a room to
ourselves to be social and carry-on with Geo-Stories and partake in
something else we all do well …EAT! Want choices? The
breakfast buffet trough will have so many choices you won’t
know where to begin. And if that’s not enough, the breakfast
trough turns into the lunch trough at
11:00.
Besides the
good company that will be there, Santa's Sack will have lots
of goodies to be given out. Plus we’ll have one
‘Other’ fun activity - that in a minute. We’ll
also celebrate Geo-milestones, Birthday’s or any other event
you care to announce. So, when you sign in, please list your
recent, or upcoming milestones and/or Birthday's. This will be a
fun event in a light social setting.
The ‘Other’ Activity We'll have is
Decorating The Geo-Wreath
Last Year's Geo-Wreath Creation
Won by Drew of 'The
Roberts'
NEWS FLASH!
Due to the overwhelming popularity of this activity,
we will have TWO Geo-Wreaths to decorate this
year.
One for the kids (15 years and younger)
and one for the big kids (16 years and older)
Twice the fun.
So, we will be decorating TWO Geo-Wreaths with typical
holiday and Geocaching related treasures. Please bring a holiday
decoration of some sort that is traditional or outdoorsy and
Geocaching related and we will add it to the Geo-Wreath. Bring a
decoration of any kind or better yet, make one. Have the kids make
something too. These last few years we have had so many beautiful
and creative ornaments that adorned the Geo-Wreath. Geocachers are
just the most creative folks.
Those who bring a
decoration will get an extra ticket just for the chance at winning
what is sure to be another great Holiday GeoCacher Created
Geo-Wreath(S).
And of course there will be a few Santa Door prizes as well.
So get started finding or crafting something to adorn the
wreath.
Our Santa source
says that the Geo-Wreaths will make their way to the event adorned
with some Geo-Trinkets and Geocoins already.
Hope you can take a
break and join us. Safe
Travels.
