The track down this side of the Opanuku Stream has largely been
superseded by the modern concrete shared cycle / pathway on the
other side.
This path always had its problems, prone to flooding in various
spots and despite some extensive boardwalk, has its fair share of
muddy spots, you have been warned!
While there is much less traffic on this side of the creek to
the other, you will still need to be aware of muggles; they can
approach quickly and quietly. Tree cover may cause issues with some
GPSr devices, but the cache is in a logical spot so finding it
shouldn’t be an issue.
