This cache is located in a would-be park in a
residential area. It is wheelchair accessible.
Intel Update: Read this description fully before heading to ground
zero (GZ). Not recommended at night for obvious reasons.
Stealth is paramount!
OPSEC is the Key!
Dress to blend in with the
environment: Blue
jeans, jogging clothes, shorts and a t-shirt, etc. are suitable
items of clothing.
Conduct Reconnaissance:
Prior to approaching GZ drive/ride-by to assess
situation.
If muggles are present or in the vicinity, abort
mission. (See attached image)
Do not park at GZ. Park on an adjacent street or walk
down from the nearby strip mall.
The best method of approach is by foot or bicycle.
Parking right next to GZ would not be prudent and may blow your
cover.
Approaching GZ in pairs may draw less attention from
local residents. One person
could sit on the bench and one could stand nearby acting if a
conversation were in progress.
Suggested Cover Stories: You may need a quick excuse for being at
GZ. Below are a few reasons you could use:
1. I have to tie my shoes.
2. I'm resting.
3. I can't walk and text
at the same time.
4. I have a rock in my
shoe.
5. My feet hurt.
7. I'm looking for my
contact lens.
8. I'm taking a survey.
Do you have a minute?
9. I think I pulled a
muscle while jogging.
Additional Intel to aid in your attempt to be
inconspicuous:
1. Do not, repeat do not get down on your hands and
kneees to look under the bench.
2. Sit down on the left
side of the bench (left side as your're
sitting).
3. Bend down to tie your
shoes or pull up your socks.
4. Pretend to call
someone on your cell phone.
5. Read the hint.
6. Perform another
activity, such looking at your GPS/Smart Phone while searching for
the container.
7. Your mission can be
accomplished while sitting.
There is no writing utensil in the cache. Therefore,
bring your own pen.
Replace the container in the exact location that you
found it. It must be
securely attached to the metal surface and it should not be visible
to anyone approaching the bench.
Good Luck and Godspeed.
