Geocache Description:

We came across this unmaintained road last week while searching for a caches and thought wow, this would be great for a series. It’s about 2 km one way, so if you wanted to bike it, would be a nice 4 km ride. Caches are an assortment of containers, varying in size. Most are winter friendly, but will not be plowed during winter. Road can be driven on, but it is bumpy.

In august 2011 we were out geocaching and hear a cat meowing....upon closer inspection we discover it was just a tiny little kitten that was very young and very hungry. We took her home, cleaner her up, fed her, took her to the vet for her first set of shots and decided to give her a forever home. She was an absolute sweet heart and stole our hearts right off the bat. Within a few weeks, I began to notice that she was sleeping a lot, much more then a kitten should, within a few days it got progressively worse. We also noticed she was eating ALL the time and her stomach had gotten huge. We decided another vet visit was in order and I feared the worse. Our vet advised us to put her down, as she had sever health issues. We had Meli in our lives for 4 short weeks, we loved her so much. God brought us to her for a reason, we were glad to make her short life as comfortable as possible. I know she would not have survived more then a day or two more had we not found her.
This caches is placed in her memory.....small lock and lock container with a few kitty trade items...the underside of the lid has a picture of our BABY.
