Geocache Description:

I have an office in downtown Dayton. This past summer, I looked at the Geocaching map of downtown Dayton and realized that it looked rather sparse. I decided to work on Building Up Dayton (B.U.D.); filling up some of the empty spaces with caches. Since I am doing a series of sorts, why not have a bonus cache that is larger than a micro? The bonus cache is called BUD-BONUS. The caches in this series will mostly be micros in an urban environment. There may be a walk from your parking spot. There may not be a beautiful view at the ground zero, but it will give all of us something to do, and people who visit our city will see what a great caching town this is! This is a replacement cache for another one named McPherson Town. The city of Dayton took down all of the trees inside of the dam and is fighting to remove all of the trees on the exterior. Someone has decided that the root system degrades the earthen dike. I'm not giving an opinion one way of the other, but I lost my cache location because of this plan. There is no great view from this location and you may note the terrain rating. I think that most people will be able to "find" this cache, but please use common sense about it. If it is beyond your abilities, bring a resident monkey, or pass on it! There is easy/free parking on the street below.
