Up until recently, another one of my caches, Commemorating Rochester Area CITO 2009, was hidden near here. When I stopped to confirm that it was indeed missing I spotted this little spot.
The first thing I thought of when I saw this location was...
Peek-a-boo!
After trying out several ideas for a hide, I finally settled on something keeping with the theme. I noticed some poison ivy in the general area, and the cache should be far enough from it, but it does grow and spread. You've been warned.
The area where the cache is hidden suffers from some "concrete canyon" syndrome. When you get in the general area, your GPS will bounce around a bit. When you get to the obvious spot (see picture below), you'll be within the typical 20' error circle
I snapped some "impossible" pictures while at the location. You'll see what I'm talking about when you get there. I put them together into an animated GIF that is appropriate for the theme... and the Halloween season that is upon us.
