This not so little ditch rat is hiding by the road side .
The fields used to be the location of a oilfieild from 1930 onwards , up to the 1960s nodding donkeys could be seen working the fields to the north . All is gone now but the oil is rummered to be very near the surface and can appear in ditches .
Apparently there has been renewed interest in extracting this oil.
