Geocache Description:

This cache is in the Sowam's Woods at the historic Wampanog Native America Site

Best option is to park on South Lake Drive [which is one way starting on Washington Road]. Enjoy the walk in this historically significant site, now protected by the land trust. Wampanoag Indians used this site for their camp.

This is our second cache. We have found most of the caches in Barrington, and it seemed this area needed one. This is also accesable from the East Bay Bike Path. The site is only open frm Sunrise to Sunset.
