Geocache Description:

This night cache is located just off route 72, near the Brendan T. Byrne State Forest, by the ruins of an abandoned pig farm. Depending on the season 4WD may be necessary to travel down the dirt road to park at the beginning of the trail, otherwise the parking coordinates are a short hike from the trailhead. Fire tacks mark the way in and out. Finding the cache will require tree climbing. Bring your own pen/pencil!

The Flat Earth Society found this site while using Google Maps to look at some regional caches. Noticing some obvious ruins, we decided to investigate and make it the location for our first cache. The site was apparently a pig farm that was built some time after WWII, and was destroyed between 1964-1970. Due to the severe shortage of night caches, we have made this a night cache. Getting to the beginning of the trail may require 4WD, depending on the season. Know your cache-mobile's capabilities! The trail head is not a far walk from the main road, Route 72. Two fire tacks indicate a turn, and three tack will let you know that you are near the GZ. Getting a smiley will involve scaling a 25 foot tree. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE ALONE! Always be sure of your own abilities. Be sure to wear orange during hunting season. If anyone has any more information on this site, The Flat Earth society would love to hear from you! Small multitool for the FTF!
