We noted the favoured park of our older 2 boys (when they were younger) was on Rob Roy Road. Taking EB Nano there recently gave us an idea....Beware, this park is popular and busy. .
Clan Griogar surely did arise like a phoenix after more than a century of the name MacGregor being proscribed.
Proscription meant the name MacGregor was
- 'altogidder abolished'
- babies not yet born will not take the name under penalty of death,
- no more than 4 shall meet at a time under penalty of death, and
- to kill a MacGregor is not a crime but to be encouraged.
Robert Roy MacGregor was born at Glengyle in 1671 and died in 1734. He was known by his mother's maiden name of Campbell for a while. He was also know as Rob Roy or Raibeart Ruadh which is scottish gaelic, anglicised Raibeart is Robert and ruadh is red haired so it translated to' Red Robert'.
This is the site of the now defunct Chadstone High (thanks Jeff). The community building was once an assembly hall, there is a new community library here, as well as a new kinder and Chadstone Primary next door is now called Malvern Valley Primary. It was rebuilt after a fire destroyed more than half the school in 2004.

It is not necessary to dismantle any of the sprinkler heads or light fittings here as NONE of them contain a cache!
