Geocache Description:

Marut Ruins
Are a treat for anyone who is in to archeology and Jewish history. The site holds one of the oldest known synagogues and learning centers for Jewish learning. (See sudgested website) You will also find 2 beautiful mosaics at the site. To get here you must make the effort! The short path is the black path coming from road 90 leading to Kiriat Shmona. The fun path starts red next to Alma and then turns black after about 3 Km. The one from Alma is downhill but is longer. This is a path that is definitely suitable for kids but it is a bit long.
At some point on the black trail, you will find a green one going North. Follow this trail for another 5 minuets and you are at the site. There is a fence around the site but the gate is not locked.

I did not get a chance
