Diddles Cache is situated in a lovely part of the country side and is just off a public footpath by an old house ruin. The path is fairly easy but perhaps not suitable for buggies. If you are doing the Baggeridge Woodland walk its just a slight detour to GZ.
I have walked this area many times and have always been intrigued about the ruined house. Maybe it was linked to near by Himley Hall or the old Baggeridge Colliery in some way? There are various ways to approach the cache all giving a pleasant walk. Himley Hall and Baggeridge Country Park being the obvious places to start but also accessible from the A449 where there is room to park just off the road.
Diddles cache is named by my daughter which is her family nickname. It’s a medium sized click lock box inside a blue zipped bag. There is a medal for FTF, a logbook and some swaps. Theres also room for tb`s.
Please use stealth and replace out of sight. There is tree cover here so bear this in mind when approaching GZ.
Attributes say its kid friendly but the terrain gets fairly difficult as you near gz.
